Our preschooler parents wish they could be flies on the wall, especially when their little ones come home and only give little tidbits of information about the sorts of games and activities we play. What games did you play today? "we scooted on our bums"... "we shaked our bean bags"... "we danced and freezed" So we thought it would be fun to have a page that you can visit regularly to see action shots of your little ones, as they play the games and activities in our curriculum. Check back throughout the year!
Dance Freeze |
Dance Freeze: Everyone dances around the room to the music. When the music stops, everyone has to freeze.
Musical Bumps: the
kids scootch on their bums around the room to the music. When the music
stops, they need to stand up. When the music comes back on, they sit
down again and scootch.
Sleeping Bunnies:
The kids follow the actions of the song. We have a bag of animal
pictures to choose from so that the kids can be a variety of different
animals each time we sing the song (ex: bunnies hop, crocodiles chomp,
birds fly, penguins waddle)
See the sleeping bunnies ‘til it’s nearly noon

Come let us wake them with our merry tune
Oh so still, are the bunnies ill?
Wake up bunnies!
Hop little bunnies, hop, hop, hop
Hop, hop, hop, hop, hop, hop
Hop little bunnies, hop, hop, hop
Stop little bunnies, stop, stop, stop
